This unusual cactus is the perfect addition for any collector, but we wouldn't recommend it for a beginner due to its challenging nature.

Light: Full Sun. Cacti need bright light to survive. My rule of thumb is always to let them have a view of the sky. The best bet is a sunny windowsill.

Watering: This cultivator doesn't like periods of drought or being too wet. We recommend potting it in a good, well-draining mix and watering once the top third of the soil dries out, or once every two weeks in warmer summer months and then once a month in cooler months with less sun. 

Temperature: 10-25°C is the ideal range. This plant is not keen on being cold so don't let it go down to 10 for long periods

Potting: A well-draining mix is ideal for this plant. Our Savvy Succa would be a great fit.

Hot tips: This is not a fan of humidity, so avoid those steamy bathrooms.

Pet Friendly: I mean yes but I dont think your furry friend would be happy with all those spikes!
