Installing a WASHLET is much like changing your toilet seat, but the features and benefits far exceed any toilet you've ever owned.

*Note: Some styles of toilets may not allow the WASHLET to fit properly due to certain contours where the tank meets the bowl.

One-Year Limited Warranty

TOTO warrants its vitreous china products ("Product") to be free from defects in materials and workmanship during normal use when properly installed and serviced, for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase. This limited warranty is extended only to the ORIGINAL PURCHASER of the Product and is not transferable to any third party, including but not limited to any subsequent purchaser or owner of the Product. This warranty applies only to TOTO Product purchased and installed in North, Central and South America.

    What should I do if I smell an odor in my Washlet?

     

    If an odor is present, please remove the main unit and clean the deodorizer screen.

    Here's what to do:

    • Remove the deodorizer filter.

      Unplug the power cord
      Remove the main unit. With the release button on the right side of the unit pressed in, pull the main unit forward.
      Make sure not to pull with excessive force because of the water supply hose and power cord.
      Tilt the unit up so you can reach the underside. Then press the clip of the filter and pull it forward.

    • Clean the filter using a toothbrush or similar implement ot remove dust or lint.
    • Attach the deodorizer filter.

      Hook the left side of the filter onto the main unit and slide the filter securely until you hear the clip “Click”.
      Never use the Washlet without a filter. (It could cause a malfunction)

    • Attach the main unit.

      Align the center of the main unit and the base plate. Slide the main unit along the surface of the toilet and press all the way into place until a “click” is heard. Please note that if the main unit is not securely on the base plate, the washlet will not function.

    • Plug in the power cord
    Where do I find the model number and serial number of my Washlet?

     

    The product identification label is attached at the rear of the main unit of your WASHLET. So you will not be able to read it until you slide the washlet forward away from the toilet tank. Here’s what to do:

    • Locate the quick release button on the side of WASHLET.
    • While pushing the quick release button, pull WASHLET forward.
    • Label will be on the rear.

    The Model Number is in the upper left. The Serial number will be toward the bottom left. See the example below.
    What kinds of WASHLET are available?

    WASHLET® is a part of the toilet. The toilets were designed with beauty and elegance in mind.
    One-Piece/Two-Piece/Wall-Hung Toilet

    These are toilets for when you have already decided to attach WASHLET® as they are installed. Just like combination toilets, they portray beauty and elegance.
    For attaching to existing toilets
    WASHLET® (spray seat)

    We have prepared WASHLET® with different designs and various functions. WASHLET® can also be attached to existing toilets.
    Can I use WASHLET® in my own home?

     

    Is there access to electricity?

    Because WASHLET® uses electricity for its functions and features, it'll need to be plugged into an outlet. Power outlet installation might be necessary if there is none near the toilet.
    What is the size and shape of your toilet?

    To attach WASHLET® (spray seat) to the toilet you currently use, pay close attention to the size and shape of the toilet as they vary by design. Most likely you'll be able to use WASHLET® (spray seat), but it all depends on the size and shape.
    Is there anything near the toilet?

    You'll need to make sure there is nothing around the toilet that may obstruct the installation. With WASHLET® (spray seat), your current toilet will become a little bigger. If the room is not wide enough, or if there is anything around the toilet that could get in the way, it may not be possible to attach the WASHLET®. As a guide, there should be at least about 30 cm to the left and right of your current toilet.
    Is your toilet located in a place where it is subjected to water on a daily basis?

    Attaching WASHLET® to a toilet that is subjected to excessive amounts of water from the shower, or using water to clean the entire toilet, may result in failure of WASHLET®.
    I don't own a TOTO toilet, can i still install TOTO WASHLET on non-TOTO toilet bowl?

     

    Subjected to the toilet's shape and size, as well as the distance between the seat and cover bolt holes. You will be required to remove your existing toilet seat to get the accurate measurements of the distance between the bolt holes, and also the distance from the bolts holes to the front of your toilet’s tank. TOTO Universal Base Plate ( sold separately ) can be used to adjust the distance of the bolt holes to get the best fit.
